10 Digit Dialing 2006-03-16 11:00:00
On June 17, 2006, 10-digit dialing will become mandatory for the 613 area code region. Since most telephone service providers currently support 10-digit local dialing, consumers can start adding the area code to all local calls right now.

You will start to hear announcements on your calls after June 17th indicating that you need to dial 10-digits. The fact that this message may disrupt data transmission (faxes, Internet, etc.) underlines the importance of quickly adopting 10-digit dialing.

If you need assistance adjusting your dialup settings, please contact us at 613-547-6939 and speak with a technical support representative.
